Since I last posted I feel like there have been lots of new things for Emily.
Today we had our first trip to the mall. She did great and slept most of the time and even let me find a dress. (I am not fitting into most of my skinny clothes and dresses are the best in between while I start to try to get some baby weight off.)
While at the mall Emily also had her first elevator ride. I now realize how I will have to map out my mall trips looking for those when I have the little one and the stroller with me.
She also rode in the Camry for the first time today. We have only had her in the Blazer thus far, but Paul took that to Charleston this weekend. So before he left I had to make sure he put the other car seat in the Camry.
Also in exciting news, Emily rolled over this week. I didn't believe it at first as I was sitting and talking to my mom. It had to be a fluke. But she did it again several more times with me, Paul, and my mom watching. It was on my mom's birthday..so she said she got an extra special present getting to see that. Of course I looked it up and the earliest I saw that children roll over was 8 weeks. Most said it would happen between 2-3 months. Emily rolled over at six weeks and one day old. What in the world?!?! I hope she continues to be a prodigy like that. So proud of my little girl..but then again it means shes growing up fast.
Here is the link to the video on my facebook page. Check it out.
