Made it.

We made it through our first day of daycare that is. I was dreading this day. I have been back at work since April 13. But it was different going to work knowing that I was leaving Emily with her daddy.

The day went much smoother than I had anticipated. And they said she did well. I was worried about it because at times she can tend to be fussy. And especially since she had been in Charleston this weekend for Memorial Day she out of her routine.

But when I walked in this afternoon,she was sitting in the swing and smiled at me as I approached her. I am sure the day did not phase her. It was much harder for me.

But we made it. My nights have to be a lot more regimented in order to get everything ready and loaded for in the morning. It is a new routine. But Emily seems oblivious...and well for now I will take that! She seems to have adjusted well her first day here's to making it through the rest of her first week.
