Five Months Old

Age: Five months

Weight: I think at least 11 lbs now...we will find out when we go back for six month check up

Length: Hopefully longer than 23.3 inches

Health: No problems!

Size clothes: I have packed up more newborn clothes and she is mostly in 3 month clothes now!

Size diapers: Size 1 for most part, but has been put in a 2 here and there!

Eat: She has started eating baby food! Emily has had carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, and bananas so far. She has liked them all for the most part, but loves some bananas the most. She also started rice cereal and downs it now. She is still eating every 3 hours and having breast milk. But at times I can't keep up and have started mixing half formula/half breast milk.

Sleeps: Still not sleeping all night! She is waking up once or twice still. We keep praying!

Disposition: She is so much more animated and is happy most of the time unless she is not being paid enough attention or is hungry.

Loves: Her elephant that sings "You are my sunshine." It can always get her to stop crying.

Doesn’t like: Having her nose or eyes wiped.

Milestones: She is really trying to sit up. She can sit for a few seconds before falling over.

Smiles when: She is tickled.
