Age: Seven months
Weight: 13 lbs. 9 oz.
Length: Not sure
Health: Everything is still looking good..a few snotty noses here and there..but nothing major.
Size clothes: It depends on the clothes. There are brands in which she can still wear newborn stuff, while there are others which are six months old! Her first Halloween costume was supposed to be for up to six months and it was too small. There is no consistency with her clothes...just like our clothes..it all depends on how it is made.
Size diapers: Size 2.
Eat: She has added broccoli and peach yogurt. However she is so interested in food. She looks at our plates now and tries to get whatever we are eating. She still eats like a newborn on the bottles...every three hours. But lately she has been eating a lot less due to being more interested in food. The pediatrician said we need to try and up it to 5 oz and get as much as we can in there and cut back on food if necessary.
Sleeps: She sleeps from 7 to 7!
Disposition: She is a happy baby most of the time. She is making funny new noises and laughs at herself when she does. She just started trying to sing with her elephant and us this weekend to "You are my Sunshine." It warms my heart. She is becoming a momma's girl and fusses if I don't hold her now sometimes. If I leave the room she gets upset. I hope this doesn't get too bad...I want her to be independent (but I also love that she wants me:))
Loves: Her jumper for the door. She gets in it every morning as we get ready in the bathroom. She also loves Dave Barnes, "God gave me You." I think I played it a lot when pregnant and she smiles so big when it comes on and starts rocking.
Doesn’t like: Momma leaving her sometimes.
Milestones: She is scooting backwards and is in the position to crawl! She is still standing up and will take some steps with some guidance and help.
Smiles when: she sees momma or daddy. When she gets kisses and when you blow on her stomach.
Recent trips: Columbia to stay with Aunt Kay and Uncle Clay on game day so we could go to the football game. She did really well at Olive Garden and let me eat a whole meal while out with my mom. She also had her first trip to Babies R Us and rode in the cart and loved it.
