A whole new world....

Since the arrival of Emily, Paul and I don't watch as much television as we used to. We just don't have time. And it seems that when we do watch something it's a DVD series or something like it rather than cable. So...we have decided to try out Google TV and get rid of cable. GASP. I know ..I find it scary too.
Our main concern is sports. But luckily we bought the Blu Ray player and have been able to stuff off of ESPN.com. That was our big concern...but just in case we are waiting until after the bowl games to cancel the cable all together.:)
Now I am not gonna lie. I am going to miss my trashy reality TV..but am just going to have to find it on Netflix. I will not be able to Keep Up with the Kardashians, but I think Paul will be happy about that. But every penny counts with a baby and when we don't watch it enough for the price, we thought we needed to give this a try.
It has been really funny to watch us try and figure out the Google TV. It is definitely the most techy thing we have now. I will admit, I love having Facebook up on our big screen. But hopefully I won't get addicted to doing that and it suck even more time out of me. So we will see how it goes and here's hoping it's a good experience and one we don't regret.
