Happy 2012. Crazy huh? We had an amazing 2011 so I don't even know what could top it. But I am grateful to serve a God who knows what it will be like and good or bad will be there holding us. I have seen a lot of posts from friends on facebook that are ready for a new year. And I admit I have been there in other years, such as the year I lost my dad and then soon after my grandfather. But I don't know if it is getting older or what, but I am not as quick to want to say goodbye to the years and move on. I cannot wait to see how Emily will grow and experience all the new things with her that she will do this year. She will turn 1! I will turn 30..and there will be some suprises I am sure. But I am so thankful for all that we were blessed with in 2011: new jobs, new house, precious baby girl, new cars, and new friends. We were able to grow with some old friends and reconnect too. And I know none of that would be possible without a Savior that loves us and provides for our every need. I hope that if you are reading this, you know that same peace that we do from having a relationship with Him. If not, I pray that it happens for you this year. Life is short and we never know what can happen, so please don't take it for granted and go another day without knowing what really matters in this life.
I also wanted to share Emily has decided to start using her toy and is attempting to walk. She started off the new year with some new moves.
